Who I Am

I’m Nimesh H Bandara, a self-taught designer, freelance developer, and AI enthusiast. I’ve been focusing heavily on logo, branding, packaging, and UI/UX design for the last 5 years.

Since the beginning, I’ve been passionate about learning and refining the craft—exploring different styles, AI-assisted workflows, and front-end techniques to figure out exactly what each brand actually needs to stand out.

I’m based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. My background is actually rooted in the analytical side of things; I graduated from the University of Ruhuna with a Science degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics. It gives me a pretty unique, structured approach to how I tackle creative problem-solving and web logic.

Right now, I’m building my own design agency, Creative Library, and I’m also a co-founder at the IT company DFOUR. My main focus across both is helping brands create premium, minimalist work that feels clean, artistic, and completely intentional.

Approach

I like to start with little context, I look at your brand through the user’s eyes first, then from the inside out, focusing on understanding the product, the audience, and the real problem behind the brief.

From there, I help define the direction and bring ideas, not just to make things look better, but to make them work better.

I like work closely with different departments to align on goals, my role is not just execution — it’s bringing clarity, perspective, and elevate the outcome.

Philosophy

I don’t follow trends blindly, I use them when they make sense. My goal is always to create something distinctive, something people actually remember.

Every project, no matter the size, deserves the same level of care, something that feels thoughtful, well-crafted, and built to last.

And yes, I believe humor is a design tool.
